Everyone who is able should participate in 30 minutes of exercise five days a week in order to see any health benefits.

Health benefits include the following:- improvement in blood pressure, diabetes, lipid profile, osteoporosis and neurocognitive function. Regular physical activity is also associated with decreased mortality and age-related morbidity in older adults. Few contraindications to exercise exist and almost everyone can benefit from additional physical activity.
At V-Healthy we offer exercise classes for the elderly and for those who are less able bodied. Chair-obics is the most popular class where the participants sit in a chair and do nice and easy exercises to help keep mobile, strengthen their bones and the other benefits that have already been mentioned. We believe that it is never too late to start exercising as studies show that you can reverse Osteoporosis (thinning & weakening of bones) by doing resistance training on a regular basis.
